Teahupoo, surf is up

Just another ordinary day in Teahupoo, the mythic surfing spot in French Polynesia. The wave is immediately recognizable with its fat jaws. Surf was up on that day and what really impressed me first and foremost was the heavy sound of the wave crashing onto the reef.
